Privacy Policy

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to identify your account and display your name in the interface.

We store every message you send and receive in your chats, the characters you create, your settings (atmosphere preferences, engine selections), and memory summaries — condensed notes derived from your conversations that help characters maintain continuity. Your chat history is the product; the service cannot work without storing it.

When you send a message, it is transmitted to AI model providers through OpenRouter. Depending on the engine you've selected, your message may be processed by Anthropic (Claude models) or Google (Gemini models). These providers operate their own infrastructure and have their own data retention and privacy practices.

Persona AI runs on Vercel. Your account data and chat history are stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database. Portrait images and uploaded media are stored via Cloudinary.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever. There are no advertisements on Persona AI and no advertising or analytics trackers embedded in the service.

There is currently no in-app option to delete individual chats or messages.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email [CONTACT_EMAIL]. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe and confirm when complete.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is managed by NextAuth and contains only what is needed to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

If our data practices change, we'll update this page and note the date at the top. Continued use of Persona AI after a policy update means you accept the revised terms.
